Attention GFGC, Principals - where Science courses are offered.

The TalentNext program will be conducted in batches with in the year 2020-21. The nominations of the faculties will be taken by the respective Location Campus Leads three weeks prior to the commencement of the program.

Few important points and steps of the program as below

Faculty nomination and pre-test

a.       TalentNext qualified colleges will nominate maximum 3 faculty members meeting the below eligibility criteria to attend the program

i)                    Faculty must be from Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics department

ii)                   Faculty should have minimum 3 years of teaching experience

iii)                 Faculty must be familiar with any one programming language and must have taught the same at least for one academic year

 

b.       The nominated faculties will undergo prerequisite programing test. Those who clear the prerequisite test with minimum cut-off will be eligible to attend the training as per the schedule

 

c.       Each Faculty will be given maximum three attempts to clear the prerequisite test, failing which the faculty will not be eligible to attend the program

 

d.       The Nominated faculties along with the TPOs, HODs and Principals will be addressed through an orientation session to get briefed on the program and to set the expectation by TalentNext team

Training program

a.    The training for the qualified faculty will be initiated

b.    Considering the Covid’19 situation the faculty will be trained through VILT (Virtual Instructor Led Training) mode, otherwise it will be a live class room training at Wipro campus

c.     The Faculty to attend the complete training program, post which there will be one week of self-preparation followed by final Wipro certified faculty (WCF) assessment

d.    The passing criteria will be set by the TalentNext team, the faculty who meets the passing criteria will be awarded Wipro Certified Faculty (WCF)

e.    The certified faculty will be allowed to train the fellow faculty members and prepare them for  the WCF certification  through Train the Trainer model. The process for the Train the Trainer model will be shared later

a.       Each WCF will be eligible to train their students (max 100 per faculty) on below focused areas

b.       The TalentNext enrolled students’ progress will be tracked through milestone completion and assessments

c.       Upon successful completion of the course the candidates will be awarded TalentNext completion certificate

d.       The TalentNext students will be prioritized for WILP hiring, however it is completely at Wipro discretion

Training will be 160 hours on-line. 

In TalentNext, selected Faculty will attend in person or online the technology empowerment program with rich hands-on experience.   "The course focuses on problem solving, coding and detailed Java and Python course in the initial stages. Once the faculty is certified, they will be invited for Advanced Technology Training programs."
