Free Job Oriented Vocational training for Person's with Disability followed by Placement

Grow PWD Program is a national-level skill building initiative launched by Dr. Reddy’s Foundation with the aim of providing Core Employability skills to PWD youth for improving their livelihood potential and quality of life.

Grow PWD centres have tied up with industry leaders and knowledge partners to create an ecosystem which provides best-in class course curriculum, technical labs and industry linkages. The 60 days (6 hours in a day) skill development training programme also focuses on building life skills including effective communication, etiquette and grooming.

Under the Grow PWD program we are running a total of 04 Centres in Bengaluru (Rajaji Nagar, Hebbal , KR Puram and Bommanahalli).

Key features of the course:

· Course duration: 2 months (60 days, Classroom Training)

· Training and Hostel cost to be borne by Dr. Reddy’s Foundation.

· Certification from Dr. Reddy’s Foundation post successful completion of the training program

·Placement assistance for employment opportunities

 

Eligibility Criteria:

· 10th Standard pass out – Degree Pass out

· Age between 18 years to 35 years as on date of enrolment


Process:

· Candidates can visit our Centre for an enrolment process which will involve counselling Documentation and Employability Skills Assessment.

· Candidates are required to carry a photo id proof (PAN card / Aadhar card), Disability Certificate/ UDID Card, one passport size photograph and Education certificates (for verification only) and Income Certificate.

·As this initiative offers training on a pro- bono basis to the trainees, we would like to see that only the deserving PWD youths are able to make use of this programme.
