ASSISTANT SUB INSPECTOR (STENO)  - 143 Posts
HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL)  - 1315 Posts

Pay Scale :-
Assistant Sub Inspector - Steno - Rs. 29200-92300
Head Constable (Ministerial) - Rs.  25500-81100

Education Qualification :- 
Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+21 or equivalent Exam from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government.

Note: Two or Three year Diploma Certificate in technical education done after lOth class is not equivalent to intermediate (1O+2).

Examination Fees @ Rs 100/- for maie candidates of General, EWS and OBC on1y. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex-servicemen and Female candidates of all categories are exempted 

Centre/City of Computer Based Test:
The candidate has to indicate three (3) options/choices as Test centre for online Computer Based Test from the foliowing-
1. Bagalakote
2. Ballari
3. Belagavi
4. Bengaluru
5. Bidar
6. Chikkaballapura
7. Chikkamagaluru
8. Davanagere
9. Dharwad
10. Kalburgi
11. Hassan
12. Hubballi
13. Mangaluru
14. Mysuru
15. Puttur
16. Shivamogga
17. Tumakuru
18. Udupi

Scheme of Examination: 
1 The Examination will consist of 
a. Computer Based Test, 
b. Skill Test, 
c. Physical Standard Test, 
d. Documents Verification and 
e. Detailed Medical Examination(DME).  All these stages of the Examination are mandatory. 

Details of these Papers/Tests is as follows: 
Computer Based Test: The Computer Based Test will consist of one paper with l00 objective type questions to be attempted in 1 -1/2 hours (9O Minutes): 


Skill Test -
Typing (HC/M)/Shorthand (ASI/Stenof): Only those candidates who qualify in CBT shall be called for next stage of recruitment i.e. Skil1 Test/PST/DV/DME which will be conducted at various Centres of the CRPF.
